Hello, Legends!
Over the last six months, we have been reading your feedback about Dungeons. A lot of you told us the same thing: the mode was important, but also exhausting. Too repetitive, too punishing when you lost, and sometimes not rewarding enough for the time you spent inside it. So we went back to work and rebuilt several parts of the system.
Here’s everything that’s changing:
Clearer Progression
Dungeons will now be structured into Floors instead of endless chains of battles. Each Floor contains a set number of encounters and a final Guardian fight.
Once a Floor is cleared, it stays cleared for the rest of the week. You won’t need to replay content you’ve already beaten just to reach higher rewards again. Your time should feel respected, not consumed.
If you lose a battle, you will restart the current encounter — not the entire Dungeon.
Recovery Between Battles
You asked for less frustration when a single unlucky fight ruined a full run. We agreed.
Between encounters you will now enter a Preparation Phase where you can:
- Heal your team
- Change skills
- Swap monsters, relics, and runes
Guardian Encounters
Every Floor now ends with a Guardian Battle.
Guardians are designed differently from normal enemies:
- They have unique abilities
- They follow specific combat behaviors
- They reward planning instead of raw stats
Defeating a Guardian grants a guaranteed reward chest and unlocks the next Floor.
Rewards
Dungeons are now one of the main sources of progression materials.
You will earn:
- Rank-up resources
- Relics
- Runes
- Gems
- Cells of Ancestor monsters
Higher Floors give newer-generation materials. If you want to grow your late-game monsters, this is where you go.
We have also added First-Clear Rewards. The first time you defeat a Floor each week, you’ll receive a large bonus chest.
Weekly Reset
Dungeons will reset weekly.
When the reset happens:
- Floors close
- New modifiers appear
- Enemies change
- Rewards refresh
This means the mode won’t feel solved forever — you’ll need to adapt your teams each week.
Difficulty and Scaling
Enemy teams now scale based on your progress in Alpha Legends, not just fixed stats.
You shouldn’t encounter brand-new players being blocked by impossible battles, and you shouldn’t feel late-game runs are effortless either. The goal is a consistent challenge for everyone.
Modifiers
Each week a Dungeon will have special rules, such as:
- Boosts to random Elements
- Traits restricted (not usable)
- Restrictions to specific elements, rarity, or books.
These are meant to encourage using different monsters instead of the same team every run.
We have also removed Stamina from Alpha Legends entirely! No more limits of how many battles you do!
That’s all for today!
Try the new Dungeons and let us know how it feels — this mode is something we plan to keep evolving alongside the rest of Alpha Legends.
See you inside the Depths, Legends!
